School of Education

BioKIDS: Kids' Inquiry of Diverse Species

School of Education

The mission of the BioKIDS project is to create innovative, inquiry-based K-12 science curricula that utilize current technologies such as CD-ROMs, PDAs and the World Wide Web for interactive study. We design and support six-week and eight-week programs centered around environmental science themes for students in urban districts like Detroit Public Schools. All our programs run during set time periods so individuals worldwide can coordinate their learning with many other participants.
